Illustrated Children's Books
I have always loved writing poetry and woken many mornings with a word or a phrase floating around in my mind. As soon as I grab my first coffee and put pen to paper, the rhymes just seem to flow.
I also worked as nursery nurse for almost ten years, reading storybooks to excitable pre-school children. This gave me a good insight into what captures their attention and keeps them engaged. It seemed natural for me to combine my love of poetry and children into creating stimulating, educational and fun children's books.
However, finding the right illustrator to bring those words to life was not an easy task.
Having known "Picasso" Griffiths through his caricaturist work in the Welsh events industry for some years, meant we already had a good working relationship. It seemed logic to work with a colleague rather than a complete stranger. It has worked out much better than I ever imagined. We now make a great team! I provide the lyrics and he make's the characters come to life in these vibrant fun picture books for all ages to enjoy.

A fantastic interactive book for children
A fantastic interactive book for children
"The adventure’s of Marley is a wonderful book for pre-school children. It’s well written with beautifully vibrant illustrations. I thought the idea of finding the lizard on each page enables children to interact and enhances there observation skill. The colouring picture in the back of the book are a great bonus. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next chapter in Marley’s adventure."

"A lovely rhyming story of Marley the street cat , set on the beautiful Ionian island of Kefalonia , with lovely vibrant colourful illustrations and the added activity of spotting the lizard on each page. There are also some drawing and colouring activities at the back of the book and this will make an ideal gift for my Great Niece who is almost 5."
